Melisse Schrope, DVM

Dr. Schrope graduated from Warren Area High School in Warren, PA in 1994. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1997. Dr. Schrope later attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine, Grenada, West Indies, in the school's charter year. In January 2004, she graduated with a DVM degree after completing a year of clinical rotations at the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Schrope began her career at Haskell Valley Veterinary Hospital in Olean, NY in 2004-2005. She then moved closer to her family and began practicing as an associate veterinarian at Jamestown Veterinary Hospital in 2005 to present day.

Currently, Dr. Schrope lives in Jamestown with her husband, two sons, and multiple rescued pets.
